PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

KOVA K-265 EXTERIOR PAINT K-265 is a system of Pure Acrylic outdoor coating, completely tropical, very suitable for hot and humid climate of Vietnam. Used for waterproofing and outdoor decoration, suitable for many types of surfaces of all civil and industrial construction works.

EXCEPTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Color quality is always stable, does not fade.
• Durable, smooth paint surface, no peeling, waterproof.
• Good coverage, quick dry, easy to apply.
• Non-flammable, non-toxic, lead-free, mercury free and other hazardous chemicals, safe for construction and use.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Surface applied

Exterior surfaces of concrete, mortar and cement walls after flexible plastic mastic to be leveled and coated with Exterior Alkali Resistance Primer, or applied directly to CT-11A Plus walls

Dry thickness

40-60µm (for one coat) under normal construction conditions

Theoretical norms

4.0 - 5.0m² / kg for 2 classes. Depending on construction requirements, surface and construction techniques.

CONSTRUCTION GUIDE

Surface preparation

• New walls: must dry and stabilize the texture (minimum 12-15 days) and remove dirt.
• Old walls: must be scrapped off grease, moss, old paint layers, lime then wash thoroughly with clean water and let dry.
• On waterproof surface KOVA CT-11A Plus Wall, can be directly covered.
• On the surface of flexible plaster or mastic, clean dust. It is then required to apply Exterior Alkali Primer.

Construction

• Step 1: Add fresh water depending on the ratio of weight, temperature and humidity:
  • Pale-white: add 5-15% water.
  • Dark color: add 0-5% water because K-265 dark paint is more liquid than pale / white
• Step 2: Apply 2 coats of K-265. Each class is 3-4 hours apart.

SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT INFORMATION

Working environment must be well ventilated. Wearing mask gloves and eye protection during construction. In case of contact with eyes, wash with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention. Please refer to the latest technical and safety documentation before use.
